A pale straw with bright green-gold tints. Fresh and alluring aromas of citrus blossom, lemon zest and fresh green herbs. The palate is zesty and fresh with white jasmine and citrus flavours and the focussed line and length characteristic of classic Eden Valley Riesling.

zest, perfectly in balance with the refreshing slatey texture which lingers on the finish.

Growing in a thin layer of grey sandy loam over clay and decomposed rock are close planted vines
Competing vigorously for moisture and nutrient in this ‘lean’ soil encourages the roots to dig deep.
High altitude and cooler climate allows the leaf canopy on to grow thicker providing more shade for the fruit.
The grapes are then able to ripen slowly and develop the flavours Heggies Vineyard wines are renowned for.
