Description
Yerring Station chardonnay
A solid growing season in the Yarra Valley. Conditions encouraged very even fruit sets, resulting in big and strong canopies. Resulting wines are full of flavour, complexity and impeccable balance.Classic in stylre, this wine displays a tight mineral backbone overlayed with opulent stone fruit creaminess. The center is richly complex, with a typical Yarra Valley long and lingering finish.
Tightly coiled, just hinting at how this might unfurl in time. A savouriness overall, yet hints of lemon balm, grapefruit, flinty with perky acidity, so this is quite moreish. Oak adds an extra dimension and is seamlessly integrated.
