Barratt Adelaide Hills chardonnay
Grapes were harvested in March of 2022 from select Adelaide Hills growers in Kuitpo, Paracombe & Lobethal to ensure clarity, consistency and character. After crushing, pressing and settling, the juice was partially fermented in oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. The wine underwent 100% malolactic fermentation and nine months oak maturation, of which 15% was in new French oak. Displays hints of grapefruit along with hazelnut, cashews and a creamy texture from malolactic fermentation. Bright acid provides length & structure.
