Heathcote Winery The Origin shiraz
Bright dark red purple in colour, this wine is hypnotic – a floral
bouquet entwined with fresh red berries and sweetly spiced
French oak highlights. These aromas combine to produce a wine
that is both complex and engaging. The palate is balanced, fresh
and alluring coupled with fine yet supportive tannins and vibrant
primary fruit flavours
The Origin Shiraz hails from our single vineyard range of wines.
Grown in the ancient red Cambrian soils and hand-picked from the old blocks at our Newlans Lane vineyard this wine is crafted to reflect the concentration and elegance of Heathcote Shiraz.
Fermented in small batches the wine is then aged in exquisite French oak giving it beautiful fine tannins and great length on the palate.
Drink now or cellar for 10+ years.
