Big, soft, juicy McLaren Vale cabernet with loads of fruit and great carrying tannins. A keeper!
Clean, deep ruby red in colour.
Clean ripe plum and dark berry fruits, along with woody herbs, dried autumn leaves, violets and a touch of spice/vanilla from the oak maturation.
Rich mouth filling plummy fruit, dark chocolate with plush mid-palate fruit and soft, fine tannins. The oak is well integrated and supports the rich fruit flavours while adding complexity.
Colour: Dark intense maroon with purple hues.
Bouquet: Fresh dark berry fruits, mulberry and blackcurrant with hints of violets
and mint.
Palate: Medium bodied, black fruits of blackcurrant, black cherry accompanied by
a hint of chocolate, violet and sage. Balanced Cabernet fruit, with a rich middle
palate and fine soft tannins. Good length of palate, very food friendly and is ready
to drink, it will continue to develop in complexity.
