Premium grapes from Australia’s finest wine growing regions have been blended to create MadFish Prosecco. This lively sparkling pays homage to Old World tradition while showcasing the vibrancy and freshness of New World terroir.
Notes of golden delicious apples, Beurre Bosc pear and ginger spice are captured in the first effervescing notes that take flight from the glass. That first mouthful is full of crisp, tart apple flesh balanced by a honeyed and creamy richness.
Light, bright yellow colour with a good collar of froth. The aroma is fresh and grapy, appealing and youthfully simple. The wine is quite intense and bright on the tongue, with some zip from acidity – but it’s far from tart. There is a little sweetness which softens it, keeps the balance and broadens its appeal. A pleasant young, quaffing fizz.
It’s been very well made, with more citrus and almond flavours than usual, the low alcohol another plus.
This is a pale lemon hue. While it is made in a style that might be simple, it provides simply delicious drinking. Quite pristine, this is fresh, clean and refreshing. We have notes of oystershells, saline touches, sea breezes and citrus, notably lemon. Fresh green apples. An attractive texture with a seductive nature, which persists well. Quite delicious. Enjoy this now and over the next 12 months. Ideal summer drinking.
