This is a robust, compelling shiraz characterised by sweet oak integrated with opulent fruit flavour.
Generosity of colour and flavour are clear and evident. The vibrant, floral and spicy bouquet brings together both red and black fruits like cherries and plums. The classic McLaren Vale earthiness comes through on the palate, supported by white pepper spice that balances the fruit concentration and the soft yet structured tannins. While young this Shiraz is bright and elegant. With time in the bottle (5—10 years) this wine will soften and develop interesting tertiary characters such as cigar box and leather.
